Default H22 in an EK.... can it handle?

I have a H22A in an EK and trying to see what others have done to make their car handle well. I'm planning a H2B conversion which should help some, but overall, what are you guys doing?

I've searched but have not come up with many answers.

Thanks in advance

Well, considering the car is so nose heavy. Why don't more people road race with H22?

there was a thread stating, with proof, that an H22 doesn't weigh that much more than a b18c. I cannot confirm this first hand, but the thread said it was a "myth"

It's not ideal, but of course it can handle. They make spring kits specific to that setup after all.

B18c? why not compare it to a D series? The stock USDM motor is a D, unless you have a Del Sol. H22 swap front weight distribution compared to a D series IS significant. If the course were tight enough, the underpowered D series would take it.

Of course you could turbocharge the D for less cost/weight than swapping in an H..

so you're saying then that hatches with b-series will have weight distribution problems....

I dont hear ppl with b-series swap compaining about their front being too heavy

Well, I already have the H22, I just want to get it to handle better... current setup is Tokico Illumina with standard spring rate GCs. I have a BLOX rear sway bar with BEAKS reenforcement to put in, but haven't yet.

No one road races or autocrosses a Civic with a H22?
