but I was just wondering, what about the rocking distributor?</TD></TR></TABLE>
The distributor is moving? Tighten it down! The spark timing will be off.

Make sure your distributor is on the right way. Don't just check the timing. I've asked a few times why my timing was off, they told me 180 degrees of timing is hard to correct. I had put in the distributor upside down then the timing haha.
now I cant hear the fuel pump prime
I checked the battery, just to make sure
checked the spark plug wires are in the right order
shes closer to starting than before
I still have to get someone here with a timing light

Is the main relay clicking? Are all of your grounds good?

I had the exact same thing happen to me last week- but with my b16. You put the dizzy on wrong. Take it off, and rotate the rotor 180 degrees, and install it again. I bet it'll turn right over. Let us know how it goes.

Remove the dizzy, then rotate the rotor 180, and put it back in. Does it seem to fit better? The slot is not symmetric, if it is backwards it will wobble. Your cam timing is fine, it is your spark timing that is 180 off.
