Default S2000 = One big pile of rice!

Ha! I'm just kidding... But on a related topic I just took pictures of how my new S2k antenna looks! It works about as good as the stock antenna did (if not a little better) and I'm so damn glad I dont have an antenna that goes WAY up anymore. All in all, I think it was well worth my 35 bucks!!! God I'm so pleased with this thing!

Must be nice, my S2K antenna reception sucks compared to stock, and I've got 2 extra wires attached to it, in addition the the factory antenna cable.

i see youre trying to improve your can control...try keeping the can a little farther away from your surface...steady hands, clean tip...you should be doing better in a few weeks...

Not again. Why is rice? The S2K antenna is not my cup of tea but it serves it purpose.

The Word "RICE"=

I'm tired of that damn word

thats exactly what I'm looking for! Where didyou get it for 35 bucks? I am modifying my car for track day use and I'm trying to reduce weight. How much did the stock retractible weigh? 5 lbs? Looks and function. I like it. I want one.

Haha... Your weird man...

Pick up an S2000 antenna at your local Acura/Honda Dealer (20-23 bucks) and buy a kit from Chris here b18c510@hotmail.com (16 bucks and thats with shipping included)

Dude that's not even close to rice. It's practical if any thing. Think about when you are playing a cd, do you really think the antenna needs to be up. And I bet if I decide to keep mine on it will eventually stop working at 60,000 miles or something.

You need the kit because first... With the instructions it comes with, a half retarded monkey could do it in an hour (took me 2). The kit is mainly washers, bolts, studs, piping and a few more things cut to fit. Lets put it this way.. It was alot easier just to buy the damn kit!!

Yep,...S2000 does make it better(INTEGRA),..espically on your Celica,..I would have tried to find the Sports M version(center of the roof) but Celica's do have a huge intenna that does not retract!!!!
RSX doesn't have an intenna,..its in the glass(those guys@ honda are gettin smarter!!!)

I see what you are saying but it would of been way to complicating filling the stock hole and then re-routing the antenna through the roof. But oh well.
I just ordered the c-one tranny for my car, that cost me a left ******** as is.

actually the antenna goes down when you pop in a cd and i have 93k miles on my teg and have never had problems w/ my antenna

i don't know why people are doing this.....i don't think i've ever seen my antenna up........its located in your blind spot when your driving so what is there to be annoyed at?

When I hook up my MP3 player to my tape deck... , it doesn't go down! Plus I hate that noise it used to make when it went down or up. I had to shut the radio off everytime before I started to move inside my garage, plus I look at other tegs around here and those things are friggin all and ugly! Plus, along with not eating, shaving all my body hair (plus pubes) and removing the antenna (5lbs), I think I saved about 35 pounds!! I also drive naked ladies...

maybe he made an antenna switch:

here is the link: http://www.sandmracing.com/santennaswitch.html

regardless of radio or cd, stock teg antenna's are always up. unless the headunit is off.

i would do the s2k antenna coversion, but then again, im not about to cut out a hole in my acura cover for the antenna

dunno why acura did this to the g3 integras. on the g2's when the head unit is off or if you're listening to a cd, the antenna goes down.
