Best suspension setup for 97 AV6
I want to get some suspension and wheels for my car. Mainly for appearance. I'm not going to be racing or anything. I was thinking adjustable because I pretty much want the thing dumped, but I want to be able to raise it a little for when the winter hits. I was thinking of maybe riding on some 17s or 16s. What are your guys' opinions for a suspension setup on a 97 with the 2.7 v6, it's a 4 door, LX model.
I believe they are different because of the V6.
The 5th gen V6 is the bastard child of Honda, since it's got a very weird interim model V6 (replaced by the J's in 1998) and the front clip of the car is different than the 4 cyls, and I believe the brakes and the suspension are slightly different due to the heavier engine.
One easy way to tell though is to go on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and check the part numbers on the shocks and springs between the I4 and V6

Yeah, I figured it was different, I just wanted to get some opinions from people on here that had possibly put aftermarket suspension on the 5th gen AV6.
I'll do some more research and see what I can find. Thanks guys.

My GF has a 96 V6. I got her some Skunk2 springs and they rode like ****!
I have Omni's on my 95 and I am very happy with them. I would suggest getting them. I think they are ok for the V6 too. Paid around 600 for them.

my wife has a 96 v6 and right now were using 97 prelude ground control sleeves on the stock accord shocks it rides pretty good and has plenty of room to go low i think im going to buy the tanabe prosustec full coilovers though since it feels safer to me because the ground control spring is way thinner than the stock spring and it kinda scares me haha
