Default JDM final Drive...order or not...?

Ok quick opinions guys. For my 2000 Si with a Built CRVTEC. Gsr tranny and the quaife is on the way. I can safe on shipping and install all at once. Should i or no?

Actually, I think the 4.78 is weak. I drove Vegeta's and without a doubt, the 4.78 doesn't even come CLOSE to the 4.92 ATS gear.
But then again, if money is a deciding factor, then it's understandable.

It's just that I could barely tell a difference w/ the 4.78.

lol, you know its all good even though everyone rags on the parts I run, it just caught me by suprize that my JDM FD sucked too. along with the Toda B's IceBox, and Toda Header. lol

I was thinking the same thing. JDM is better for drag from what I heard though.

I was thinking the same thing. JDM is better for drag from what I heard though.
Depends on what kind of traps you're getting.
If you're over like 102-103mph, then you might have to shift into 5th or ride out to like 9500.
My Integra hits 100mph or so in the 1/4 so it's suited perfect for me. Redlining 4th at the traps.

Mike M's B20 didn't do well for times because he had to shift into 5th.

oh, that's good. i gotta tell yasu that one. anywho, i hit a 13.6 @ 101 in my ATS lsd 4.929 finaled beast. not bad for a car cornerweighted and aligned for autocross. ATS

OK, how much should one expect to pay for a 4.92 ATS ??? I've never put any thought into one... maybe with a USDM GSR or LS 5th since I average 70 to 80mph...

ATS you're looking around 750...725 was a special that IPS and R and D had, but it's not going on anymore...
