Harsh shifting Transmission 92 Accord, Same old question.
I have not tried everything (like replacing tranny for 2nd time)
but I have:
a) checked and cleaned solendoids,
b) numerous oil changes (honda atf, dextron II) ,
c) used tranny additives (per this website, which helped some).
d) changed motor mounts. all the way around
God I'm frustrated, the tranny does everything else so well,
except shift smoothly.
Why do they shift hard ?
What is wearing out ?
And or what is going wrong.
Do I need to just change the tranny again, if so how do I insure the new one will shift smoothly.
I'm just glad my other Honda's don't do this.
