Melting rear lip anyone have some ideas?

Default Melting rear lip anyone have some ideas?

Last year I put on a WW rs kit on my 4th gen and I lowered the muffler so the heat wouldn't melt the lip, consequently the muffler looks kinda dumb hanging looks a bit akward. This year I decided to change the muffler and throw a dual tip magnaflow and ditch the grapefruit launcher thermal muffler that comes with the 4th gen kit. Im gonna tuck the muffler closer to the lip this year. Does anyone know of something that could possibly work as a heat shield? Something I can stick on the bottom of the lip? Any suggestions appreciated.

You can make a simple heatshield from scrap sheetmetal.
