Add some blue gas and u will be from hi to mid 13's. And no , it's not possible for bolt on. I had 92ls in my hatch and all motor with slicks, I hit 14.6 and 70shot, I hit 13.5 with slicks. Will try 100 this week. Mine had no cams, just cam gears, IHE.

if your running 15.0 now... then adding bolt ons will give you 10-14 more HP at the wheels. Which means... high 14's. Where did you get the idea that you could run 13's with bolt ons?? Running 13's will cost you alot more then just a LS motor drop...

Yeah the vtec head bolts on does that count, cams bolt in does that count.I would get the head worked and maybe use some r pistons if not then try crower or web or jg for non-vtec cams. You can do it w/out gas.Try using the b16 tranny w/lsd and good tires.13s arent all that hard anymore all motor

Nick Ellis Ran 13.9@97 or 96 mile and hour at VMP, with a bone stock ls in a dx civic, on 22X8 m and h's and bolt on's with the tps wired backwards, go figure. The car was in street class trim , it had fullinterior from the the dash till the back of the front seats, he was running a s1 trans, makes huge difference, and had a clutch to launch the car, pay attention to little things and it is possible, by the way the motor had 220 k on it,Jason

Thats kinda slow for 143 to the ground. I ran a 15.8 with a ZC and just exhaust... You should be in the mid 14s at least..Maybe I am wrong..

With the LS motor, and the stuff that you have, you should be running in the mid 14’s at least and getting close to 14flat.

On the dyno, was the motor tuned with some cam gears. Most cams require some adjustments by the cam gear to get the most power. Sometimes, dropping them in without tuning can actually make you loose power.

Another factor is the elevation of the track you race at. Certain air conditions affect all motor cars significantly.
I have a CRX with an all motor D16A6 with headwork, cam, cam gears, stock bottom end, IHE and on slicks
At a good elevation track, it runs consistent 13.6-13.7 but on a higher elevation track, even with tuning the fuel to the elevation conditions, it can only run the fastest of 14.0

The same car, same setup but just different nights, I couldn’t even break 15.0 There were other factors such as that the wind was blowing bad towards the start of the track and it was a cold/dewey night which moistened the track. Couldn’t get good 60fts.

But that motor should be capable of doing 13’s on some slicks. Low 14’s on street tires.

Coming soon: 11 second D16A6 all motor fully built for under $3000.00

143WHP sounds about right for a B18A/B18B with i/h/e and cams. Import Tuner got 147WHP from their 1995 Integra (with the better B18B) with i/h/e and cams. So 143HP from the weaker 1991 B18A is actually very good. But I do have to wonder about your trap speed. I ran about this same speed with a B18B with just intake and exhaust. Are you perhaps racing at a high altitude? This could be affecting your ET as well. Speaking of ET, how are you launching? How is your 60 foot time? Is this hurting you? Most of the time, it is precisely this that is killing your ET. One thing you might look into is your camber. This is a problem with swaps, as the extra weight tends to cause excessive negative camber. A camber kit cam solve this problem. After all, you want all the availabe tread on the ground!

Sure, just bolt on a JDM YS1 trans with LSD, and you'll be very close. Bolt on a turbo kit too, while you're at it!

I ran a 13.7 at 103mph in my CRX.
The car is gutted and I have a B18C5 engine in it.
It puts 182 HP at the dyno, and I used Falken Azenis tires at the track that day.

It has an AEM clone intake, back then it had a GSR DC header ( now it has a JDM DC type R header) it also has an HKS Hyper from a 93 Integra.
