have a quick question.... there is a wire that runs from the starter motor case.... which stud does it go on to???? need answer ASAP please!!! thanks!!!!

 

there should only be 2 wires that go to the starter, one is the signal wire that comes from wiring harness, the other is the power wire that goes from the fusebox to a stud on the case. is that the wire you were looking at?

 

one wire should be directly attached to the positive battery terminal, the other should be a small ground wire coming from the wire harness.
