Default ITR Floor Mats wear

Does anybody else have this problem of the Integra Type R design getting wore down and stitching coming apart from wear, i've only had the R for 1 year and 2 months now and it was worn like this last fall before i put it away. would the dealer warranty this?

my mats are pretty much just dirty but not worn to shreds . I don't think the warranty covers it, but if they do

can anything be done or does anybody know if warranty will cover it since it could be a "defect" in the stitching?

I have a whopping 5,000 miles on my R and the stock drivers side mat looks like the car has closer to 100,000 miles on it. These mats just seem to wear quickly or something. It may just be my size 13 Doc Martins digging in to them, making it wear out kinda fast.

i have the fake Type R mats u buy on ebay... they are cheap and look decent... i dont wanna hurt the real ones... the only bad side is that they are thin and cheaply made, and slide around a lot... otherwise, they do their job!

I have clear rubber mats that I bought from Walmart on top of my mats. Mine still look new...I think. Only problem is that the rubber mats stink for a while but oh well.

Just got mine replaced under warranty as a matter of fact for that very same reason.

if you clean the mats often they will look "like new" for a long time. mine have gone through over 70k miles & 4 winters. thanks to regular cleaning they still look nice and clean. however the stitching coming apart that soon is not normal wear. complain to the dealer. they might replace them under warranty.

No warranty on floor mats. It's a normal wear item.
Kinda like wanting a warranty for a dirty air filter.

Floormats are to keep the carpet clean. They are meant to get dirty. Sorry i just think this thread is pretty lame.

Mine are so bad that the hole on the driver mat that keeps it in place is torn out. I also wonder if covered under warranty?

I've had mine for 3 years and 50 000 km and they have only started to wear where I rest my foot but that's it. I don't drive in the winter, mind you. I'm actually impressed they have lasted this long. I also think they're meant to get dirty like the car is mean to be driven. I don't like to bother myself with things like that and I'm happy to say my car is still the cleanest car out of anybody I know.
