need wiring help
ok finally figured out my code 9 that has been plaguein me for over a year...go to drive car get on the gas and at the vtec engagement point check engine light comes on (code 8) go find a bad ground fix it and reset ecu...code is gone....go drive again and bam once again when vtec is supposed to kick in code 8....brand new dizzy king dizzy, obd 1 91 crx, p28 ecu, rywire dizzy adapter, jk conversion harness....please help me guys thanx

what is the Code 8 for
and if it goes off with VTEC id start by testing the VTEC oil presor sensor and Engagement solonoid to make shure there good
does VTEC engage and then you get the code or does it just threw the code at engagement and never switch to High Cam

I am pretty sure vtec is engaging because if it didn't it would bog wouldn't it? because it still keeps on reving..BTW it is a zex cam.....but code 8 is TDC sensor which is in the dizzy but it is a brand new dizzy so WTF?
i had a similiar problem with a dizzy king distributor when i converted to obd1 as well. i just repinned the dizzy with obd0 connectors and matched the colors. and it kept throwing a code 9 and i believe a code 8. turns out distributor king switched up 2 of the wire colors, the peach and white ones were backwards. id follow the colors on the harness and adapter you bought to ensure that the white on your harness goes to peach(orange) on the dizzy and peach(orange) to white.
