Default My first attempt at a fiberglassed dash.

Always have reserves about leaving things open for critics in here....lol

Anyhow here are a couple pics of progress so far.

All done by hand no sanders used.

LOL I knew that would be the first comment.

It's not a daily driver. But sunglasses do wonders.

Thanks for the comment.

are you laying it over the stock dash or did you use the stock dash as a mold or something else completely different?

If I had the equipment I would love to. You finance the bank roll and I am on it.

To answer someone else....The dash was a stock dash that was damaged during shipping from Japan. Since I would never find another right hand drive dash in the states..(muchless a black one) I decided to try and fiberglass and mold it together.

It took me longer to do this dash than it did to do the RHD conversion.
Really amazed nobody commented on the fact it is RHD.

Anyways more updates as they unfold.

Yeah and would match the front end of the car. It is carbon complete.

Anyone have any carbon fiber they wanna send me to play with?

Donations accepted and details posted.

Itd be nice if you could give it a matte finish, I hate the shine from fiberglass. Nice work though.

Because the dash was damaged when it arrived. Like I said you just don't find black right hand drive dashes around the local junk yards.
