Default 92 SI swap Harness question

So I'm am doing a swap for a friend and he has a 92 SI and Hmotors sent him a 97 H22A. Will the stock Si wireharness work on the newer h22? I don't know why he would be sent an OBD II engine with a OBD 1 car but i'm sure they know more about the engines than i do. What would the easiest way be to wire the engine?

I did a engine swap similar, H23 obdI to H22 obdII, and yes u do have to modify the wiring. The easiest way to is, is to take the original wiring harness and the ecu from the 92 si once you dropped the engine, take it to a car eletrician and tell him your story,(changing obdI to OBDII) . Then once your done with that, put the harness on the new motor and your done. (if its JDM youll be Missing hoses)
