So, long story short, my passenger side turn signal on my CRX flies off on I95. The wire holds it on the car, but it rubs and marks up my fender until I can slow down and put it back. Now there are ugly black scuffs on my red paint. They don't seem to be the usual rubber-type scuffs you can just rub off with your fingernail.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Pick up a mild polish and foam applicator.
It should remove or hide most of the scuffing.

Easy to obtain products would be Meguiars 2.0 Swirl Remover, or Scratch X
If you can, pick up 3M Swirl Mark Remover, it works better than the above products.
