Default Crower Cams...

I hate to make another post about crower cams but i just gotta. I've read through a ton of threads but still felt the need to post. I see that Crower stage 2's with stock and non stock idle lobes and stage 3's are all the same price. I'm wondering which i should probably go with. This is my daily driver so that must be taken into consideration as well. I was planning on going with the Jun Stage 3's for the past while but now that it's time to actually buy something i dunno...I'm debating between the Crower stage 2's, 3's and Jun's...Any and all input is appreciated

My setup is as follows:
Euro-R engine/tranny
megan racing header with 2 1/2" collector mod
custom 2 1/2" exhuast with a high flow cat
hondata IM gasket
Exedy Stage 1 Clutch

JUN cams are easily the best NA cams. From the look of it, you're going for a 230whp daily driver? I'd say get JUN stage 3, upgraded valvetrain, P&P, 3 angle valve job, and chip and tune your ECU

JUN . After reading of the horror stories of Crowers breaking, I'd be scared. Supposedly, they are stronger now.

Got 1000 miles on my Crower stage 1's and so far no problems. Wouldn't be surprised if everyone was just over torquing them . A mere 7 ft lbs it all it takes

Did it happen to you even after they are "20% stronger" now?

The crower cams have been strengthened a bunch recently, but the JUN is just a safe bet. I'm doing crower cams soon, so I'll see first hand if they're good or not...

I've got crower 2's, had them for 3 years now. Great cams I am very happy with them and wouldn't worry about them breaking. My car makes just over 200whp with these cams and no headwork.

I got them, but I just need to put them on when my build starts going. Could take years though, but I'm gonna take my time....

man I get tired of hearing stories about Crowers breaking. I had a set of stage 1's in my turbo LS, no problems. I had a set of stage 2's in my B16A, no problems. and this was back in 2001/2002 when they had the shittier cams. I think its an installation issue when you have a set break on you.

I will be running stage 3's in my G23VTEC, we have idled the engine on them and the idle isnt that bad.
