i saw this, thought u might be interested. i think u may need some wiring behind the fog switch, but i see the switches on ebay usually with sone of the wires cut with it, just keep a look out.
hope htis helps somewhat

Are you absolutely sure that you don't have any internal wiring harness for the fogs? Because AFAIK, all 4th gen Preludes came pre-wired to hook up fog lights to the cars. Where can you not find the wires - are there no harnesses by the front bumper lights or by the center console/speaker grill?
This is what I was told......

I asked people around the net and they told me, sure there is connectors in the bumper but there should be a harness that goes from the relay underneath the stearing wheel to the grey connector that leads to the hazard lights switch where the switch wiring is located and taped & ready to be used.

The purpose of the wiring harness is to extend the relay so it could reach a mounting spot (next to the power steering control unit under the steering column). The relay plugs in directly into the connector without the “extension” harness. In summary, you DON'T need the wiring (extension) harness.

Thx bro

Ok... so you don't need it. Cool... Then why are people telling me to get it.....
Ok so all I need now is...
1) Switch
2) Relay
Relay plugs right in, switch wiring is under the cup holder and ready to be used....
Fogs should work after that correct?
EDIT: Ok i had to read your post like 3 times to get what you are saying, it is just so you could reach the mounting spot, duuh. Im slow. Ok cool so if you dont have the harness itll just hang, and I can just zip tie it. Sweet dude, thanks, so that leaves me with a switch and relay. Nice.

That is correct. I just zip tied mine to the main wire harness that the relay harness branched out from.

I'm assuming that you have a 94-96 Prelude. If you do, then you are correct and the switch wiring harness is under the cup holder. If you have a 92-93 Prelude, the switch wiring harness is behind the driver side tweeter cover. Your fog lights should work when:
1) Fog lights
2) Relay
3) Switch
are all connected.

I confirm this.
More info: the relay is exactly the same as one of two ABS fail safe relays, can be found on any prelude in junkyard.

Thx guys, you da bomb!! Also is it possible to like short the wires to see if the fogs would work with out a legit switch?
Ok everything installed only one problem the relay is making a Buzzzing sounds like an electric motor sound and it is also vibrating you can feel it. But fogs still work. What the hell?
I DID SEARCH... and no one has solved the problem.
