I have a 1990 CRX si with a b16a swap, when the car is extremely cold I hear a rotational squeeling type/ringing/rattling noise, appears to be coming from the centre of the car. Noise is also there when extremely cold, seems to go away when warm. I thought it was the wheel bearings, or suspension, suspension is tight, and had the car on a a hoist and try to duplicate the concern will not reoccur when on hoist. The tech at work thinks it must be coming from inside the transmission itself. I placed the car is neutral while running noise is still there, shut the car off while driving noise still there. I need ur help in helping my crx enjoy the quiet ride. I am planning on changing the manual transmission fluid and adding an additive to see if that helps first. Any suggestions or fluid recommendations or experiences on this type of problem will be helpful. Thanks a milliion!
