Basically just like the topic says. I was wondering if anyone new if you could put an 01 F4i tail section with the split seats on a 2000 which just has the one seat. Like the look of the split seats better. I understand that i would have to buy the seats and tail section from an 01 is there anything else involved i.e sub frame, if this can be done?

Did a search and didnt find anything, maybe someone on here knows, or if not knows who i could ask or where i could look to find the answer. Thanx

the two bikes have to share the same frame and the attach points for the subframe have to line up for it to work

 

He probly doesn't even have that bike anymore as it was over 5 years ago lol.
But yes it has been done you need the sub frame seats and plastic.

I would like to buy the 2001 cbr 600 fi fairing kit because it looks so much better. where can i purchase used part' in store'near the bay area, california, and where can i get the name of the parts so as the dealers and i can communicate properly besides " the thingy that holds the front assembly together"
