Default Dash Lights + Brake Lights- Out

I just bought a 98 Prelude SH. Only when driving home from Charlotte did I realize that all the dash lights and the tailights don't work. The brake lights are fine. Sorry for following stupid question: how do I know if a fuse is blown? Which one should I look for?

its a fuse. I know the 4th gen fuse is called "small light" not sure about the 5th gens. The taillights and interior lights are on the same circuit. Just start pulling every fuse that says "light" and see if its blown. HONDA isn't too smart at labeling fuses.

The "small lights" fuse was not blown, but the "taillight" one in the driver footwell was. If they are on the same circuit, this would cause the interior lights to not burn as well right?

yes. I'm pretty sure they're in the same circuit as most other cars. Replace the fuse and see what happens.
