Default 3rd pressure switch on 1998 Accord

My wife took her 1998 Accord ex V6 to the dealer yesterday because the cel came on and they told her that it had a 3rd pressure switch failiure, and the catalyst converter is bad also it needs a timing belt and tensioner and the front and side motor mounts are broken. I can take care of mostly everything on the list but what is the 3rd pressure swithch? and does anybody know where I can get a good deal on parts .
Thanks

my guess is it is the third shift solenoid. How many miles on this car? I have never heard of motor mounts going bad on honda's V6 cars unless they were driven quite hard. early replacement of timing belt would indicate this as well

Well I bought the car in December from ebay, the car says 100,000 like the guy on ebay said but when I got my title it says 155,000 so I'll have to say the car has 155,000. They did say that the 3rd pressure switch was on the tranny but I was just wondering where it's located so that I can switch it out. like I said I just bought it it looks and drives great, the motor is really clean from the inside, I took the valve cover off to look at the top of the head when I bought it.

I think it is on the front of the trans. I would see about getting a fraud case brought against the guy for if the title says 155K and the odo says 100K, he lied and commited fraud. Look on your door jamb to see if there is a odo replacement sticker on it.

EDIT

Consider yourself lucky since the T-belt was due at 105K and you managed to get 155K out of it.

Thanks, for the info, how do I go about getting this guy for fraud charges, he has a small car lot, after I picked up the car he told me that the title was still at the auction place where he bought the car and that I woul have the title in less than a week, it took him two months to get me the title,. by then it was too late to take the car back and say I want my money back because I had already replaced the tires, cv-joint and the windshield. I am happy with the car but I would like to do something about the guy lying to me about the milage.

You need to talk a laywer. I would talk to the guy first and ask him why there is 55K difference on the title and what he told you and see if he is willing to give you a partial refund. Show him the receipts for the repairs you made to the car.
