Default HELP PLEASE ASAP...another radiator question. DA for rex?(already searched)

Hello everyone. Last night my old radiator gave out on me so i need a new one ASAP so i can go to work and school. I have a '91 CRX si with a B16 and was currently runnig a stock radiator(which worked fine for 3 years until yesterday). I searched already and after reading that DA integra radiators fit and work better because of the thickness and/or dual core, i decided to buy one. My question is, what year DA do i buy the radiator for and can i bold up the stock fan to it?

heres a picture of a CRX with a DA radiator that i found on this site. IT looks like it fits well but i dont see the fan:

I know that i can use a stock radiator, but the DA radiator should work better because its thicker and made for a b-series right? I cant afford a really nice 300+ aluminum radiator so i need this to work so i can go to work tommorow. Autozone is currently holding this part for me and they close at 8pm central and its 11 am now. I need this tonight so if u guys could give me the best advice ASAP, i'd appreciate it. Thanks!

the radiator fan wont matter if you are doing a temperary fix until you can find out how to mount it or you could get a slimfan if seen um for like 55 bux shipped

I was in the same position a month ago, and decided to find a new one instead of taking the risk of a used radiator failing on me catastrophically. The problem with buying a used radiator is that it will die out on you too someday, and you'll have to buy another.

Can you afford a $109 aluminum OE-spec radiator shipped?

http://www.radiatorworld.com/r...cat=1

That top one is made by Visteon. I got one and its very nice, perfect fit, uses stock fan, water temp stays lower now.

They have Visteon DA radiators too for $105 ( http://www.radiatorworld.com/r...cat=1 ), but the size is different:

DA Dimension: 12 13/16 x 25 7/8 x 1

CRX Dimension: 12 11/16 x 25 7/8 x 5/8

The width is right, so there's a chance the thicker, taller DA would fit, esp without an AC.

The CRX one will work with both types of OE fan.

^^^ Thanks a lot guys. I already fixed my car and it runs very good The fan bolted right up to the DA radiator no problems and my car seems to pull a little harder as well. Thanks again for all the help!
