Default IPS Racing

For the first time today I talked to Mike at IPS Racing. I was treated very well even though I didn't buy anything. Mike seemed like a friendly guy, and from what I have heard from other HT members he is excellent. IPS has so much to offer I don't see why I need to shop anywhere else. Because of the way I was treated, IPS has a customer for life and I encourage everyone to look into them.

Ok, now we have a ghey Japanese guy with Mexican intonation and a Vietnamese g/f. This got to be the weirdest combination.

Ive made a recent order with them and am satisfied with the part and Mike's service. Although I did make a few phone calls and got that lousy answering machine! Im sure he is a busy guy and I was probably being a little impatient.

Anyway, back to topic. to Mike and his knowledge.

Yeah, Mike seems like a nice guy and all, but is it normal to have to wait 3 months or more to get a few Spoon parts? This is not a wise-*** question, it is a genuine question because i've never waited this long for parts before and don't quite understand it. I am in my own business also, a heating and plumbing business. Sometimes people will order special fixtures from Japan and it never takes that long to get. I think that sometimes smaller companies will wait till they get a lot of orders so that they can get better prices and bulk shipping rates...This makes sense of course, and some of the savings are passed on to the customer. However, i think i would rather be informed of this BEFORE i order so that i can make my own choice of paying a little extra, or saving $100 and waiting for an undetermined amount of time..

I would rather pay the extra money and get my parts..I hope my car doesn't get stolen before i even get a dam header on it

OK, ENOUGH of the free advertisement for IPS!!!

J/K,

Mike is a great guy, I deal with his all the time, when he's not frolicking over in Europe picking tomatoes and crushin grapes with his bare feet!

Not to rain on the parade but, Dave at R&D is also another Top Notch guy with equal service and product knowledge... Goooo Dave!!!

A.

This was a few weeks prior from him going to vacation. This was "during business hours." ANYWAY, I like his service overall.
