Default Adjustable Shocks in cold weather?

I've had 2 adjustable suspension setups (twin-tube & mono-tube) and both seems to ride alot stiffer during the winter even after setting it to full soft. During the summer they both ride great and any kind of adjustment is felt instantly but during the winter even adjusting to full soft they still ride very stiff.

I know that oil flows slower when it's very cold & nitrogen gas should maintain it's pressure pretty good even when temps drop below freezing but does any one else have this problem too?

The oil is thicker when it is cold but that effect goes away in a pretty short distance once they get up to normal operating temperature becasue they are warmer when working than ambient temperature anyway. Just leave them adjusted a bit softer than you do in the summer but it should n't ne a big deal.
