Hey guys, I have a turboed B18B with stock IM and TB. I can pick up a Stock Machined 64 mm TB for $200 CDN (roughly $180US). Wondering if it'd be worth it or if I was just wasting my money?

hmm... not sure if maxbore works on throttle bottles out of state but it's only 100 to get your stock tb to be bored out.

 

More airflow. How much boost do you run, and with what turbo?

 

I'm only running 7psi on a small T3 turbo, but Im gonna be bringing it up to about 9psi this summer. Im just looking for cheap ways to add HP without having to bring the PSI more then 9 really. But I still don't wanna waste $200 if it's gonna do freg all, or if I could spend maybe abit more to get an aftermarket/bigger TB.

 

Since the air coming into your motor is pressurized it wouldn't make as big of a difference as it would on a N/A motor. Spend the $200 on something different. $200 should get you a little dyno time, and some mild tuning.
