Ok so just now i finally got my car started, and its blowing out thick white smoke... could that have something to do with the fuel pump?

If it started, it's obviously getting fuel. Don't know what's causing the white smoke though, sorry.

Some steam from a cold exhaust system is normal first thing on a cold morning. But if you're talking about volumous clouds of thick acrid white smoke that doesn't go away; then you're looking at an internal coolant leak. Coolant is getting into the combustion chamber (not good).
This indicates:
1) Blown Head Gasket (survivable if addressed quickly)
2) Cracked Head or cracked cylinder liner (requires a more agressive approach)

Watch your coolant level

head gasket failure will cause your car to blow thick white smoke. has your car ever been overheated?

if you think its a coolent leak, check your dipstick for the oil turning a creamy color. thats usually a good indication of coolant in the oil.

If that has happened, go straight to rebuild instead of just repairing leak. When you get coolant in the oil, 99% of the time your main bearings get toasted or damaged and will fail within a short time.
