Default Axle question.

Hey guys, I'm new so "hello" I guess. Anyways...

I have a 1996 Honda Civic EX with an automatic and I changed my driver side axle today. Well...when I turn I leak ALOT of fluid. I'm pretty sure the seal is good because it doesn't leak when I go straight.I do not have ABS on my car but I do know that my bearing was for a car equipped with ABS. I purchased a non-abs axle. I was wondering if the ABS axle was just a hair longer? If anyone has any ideas I 'm all ears.

Thx in advance.. J.

either u didn't push the axle in all the way or the spring around the seal is gone. a new seal is cheap and comes with the spring.

Found out exactly what the problem was. The seal that I got at Advance Auto was not the right one. It called for it in their system but was WAY off. I went to honda and was able to pick up the right one and now all is fixed.
