Default installed Pro 1s and car does want to start

motor is a gsr with p73 pistons head is milled 30thousandths. jun valve train and the cam gears are set to 0,0. the valve clearance are .007intake and .008 exhaust and timing in right on point. i can get it to start and keep idiol if i advance both cams to +1 then it shuts off. the fuel pressure is right around 40 with vaccum hose off. im running it off a chipped p28 from kenji

remove about 25% fuel at idle, open up you idle screw a bit and readjust the tps sensor and try 25-26 degres of timing and it should idle fairly well. These cams are not a drop in and go if you dont know what your doing. Donf can give you some excelent pointers as well. You will alsu have to advance your cam gears a little more due to the milling of the head. Did you clay for valve to piston clearance?

the cam gears need to be adjusted because the head has been milled that much. i forget what the number is exactly, but i think for ever .013 thou, you move the gear +1.

someone correct me if i am wrong. thats probably the problem Dyno. Try that, and put a stock ecu in it, until it runs.

Dyno, PM JOHNZM on this board, or call me at the shop, i have Pro1 maps i can get to you

IIRC, 30 thousandths = ~1degree

There is an alan key adjuster for the throttle plate, open it up slightly and tune for about 15:1 AF at idle. Should purr like a kitten.

dude i can help you out man.

i am sick as **** at the moment. if u can bring me a chip, TO me i can get you a proper map. FYI i ran the pro1's in my GSR as well, so i have extensive tuning experience with them, and a bunch of basemaps to start you on.

also tuning if you wanna do it. just gimme a couple days to get better.
