hood not latching.

hood not latching.

my friend just bought a 95 civic with a gsr swap. it has a carbon fiber hood on it. when you close the hood it hits the top of the valve cover. how can he fix this?

i had to cut some of the reinforcement out of my cf hood in order to get it to clear the valve cover

i say replace your valve cover with either saran wrap or a thin plywood.

ya just trim the support bars underneath the hood and it should go down.
