Default who has one of these?

hey guys ill be dropping my boosted d in tomorrow and the exhaust i have on now is kinda small... i was thinking about putting an electric cutout after my downpipe and connecting it to the rest of my exhaust... i figure that this will give me the best of both worlds- quiet for daily use, and loud/free flowing for racing use... what do you guys think and how long do these usually last? thanks guys

I knew a guy who had one of thsese on his car, a shop across the street installed it.

I also know a guy who has somthing like that, its not elictric though, his is manuel, all you do is take off a bolt, or move a lever from under the car, and it eliminates the muffler. He designed it himself in paper and a muffler shop made it and put it on for $20.

QTP designed these for the Fbody car but they are universal. They work real well, I'm gonna pick one up eventually.

They also have these that work on a vacume diaphram. When the car gets into heavy boost, it opends up

My boss told me to get a setup like that, but that was after we designed/implemented my interchangeable muffler.

Might be someting I do in the future.
