i have my ES master bushing kit that will be installed next week for my 89crx hf but i recently purchased my DA rear disc conv and i also got the front knuckle assembly. my question is can i use the same bushings from my crx on the DA suspension.
sorry i cant answer your question.
but i have a question for you.
is the bushing kit you received red?
and what all USEFUL bushing did it come with?
because in the past with other cars i have bought thier bushing kits for ,they send stuff we couldnt use and missing stuff we wanted.
thanks

x2 throw the balljoint boots in the trash. The DA rear lca has a bigger id shock mount bushing than the ED. I found out the hard way and had to make an emergency trip to the junkyard.

so the only thing i dont use will be the ball joints but everything else will work. i will be using crx rear lower control arm. so which ball joints do i use factory and if so which one DA or EF.
What's the best bushing kit for the money? OE, Energy, or something else? What are things to look for?
I'd like to replace all my worn suspension bushings, but really have no idea where to start.
Thanks!

I got this kit like a month ago and I am about to put it on. I was going to use the es ball joint but every thing I have read is negative about them? can someone clear it up for me. Thanks

es boots don't seal as well as the factory boots. Over time dirt and moisture gets inside, washes away the grease and shortens the life of the balljoints.
Here's a pic of my upper ball joint with the es boot.. Notice how there is no seal. The ball joint is ruined because it ran out of lube. The tie rod and lower balljoint boots aren't as bad as the upper balljoint boot, but none of these boots work as well as the oem boots.
