Default Whatever happened to Steve Sakai AKA SGT

I used to deal a lot with steve sakai in the past with hondata and tuning stuff, he was very knowledgable about everything that had to do with tuning and engine building. I havent been in the ITR forum that much since getting my s2k, so if its been covered , my bad.

He closed his shop and got a real job. Shame, because he did a nice job tuning my car

He does still tune. If you email him he will eventually respond.

I think he just kind of lost heart with the direction the industry was taking.

No, that is Norris Prayoonto that drag races for Clutchmaster. He works with Ultimate after selling Nu Image Autosports.

He needs to come back and help every once in a while. There is a dearth of good technical information these days.

I lurked on this site for 2 years before signing up, some of the stuff posted back in 2000 - 2003 boggles your mind, there were posts on tranny rebuilds how to's. Those guys had major skills.

Now all the posts come from kids with no knowledge and half the posts are useless. Admittedly my posts aren't always informative.
