Default Just bought a 2001 S2000 - how to fit a sub?

I've been reading H-T for a few months and finally got my 2001 last weekend. Bone stock with 25k and red int. I am planning to upgrade the stereo. Do any on you have pics of a 10" or 12" sub enclosure (or infinite baffle) in a s2k? Also maybe ideas for amp mounting locations, ect. Thanks!

Fiberglass enclosure and removing the spare for the amp works nicely

Last weekend i built a custom box that fit in the bottom of the whole in the middle that housed a 10". Very nice fit and looks awesome.

Ill see if i can get a picture of it...

I would be interested in a write up of how you did it.

I need to get my 10" sub, amp, power cap installed in my S.

Thanks for the pic. Any experience with rattles from the sub firing toward the trunk lid? Maybe some Dynamat is in line? My concern would be the lock release unit rattling.

Sorry, but the factory stereo needs help. It is very interesting that the stereo is so bad in such an otherwise solid car. At least honda spent time on what is important (chassis, engine).

compared to other roadster stereo setups, it's actually decent imo.

As dumb as it may sound, I don't know.I bought it from someone on S2KI a couple of months ago and decided not to use it. I want my gear and diff installed first. It's not installed in my car, I just through it in there because i'm trying to sell it and I needed pics.
