its got a two brothers slip on thats it for mods. the results were 133WHP. does that sound about right for that bike with only a pipe?

well from what the guy at the bike shop told me they are doing 125's stock. just wondering if a pipe can really add 8WHP.

nevermind my dyno chart says dynojet model 150 and it says SAE corrected horsepower. he didnt have any RPM signal hooked up and it didnt read torque either. it says CF=0.94 if that matters also

he compared me to the 2 other 954 dynos he had on record and i was the highest. there was a stock that did 125 and another that had a pipe and was even lower than the stock one

well uncorrected your numbers would be about 140, which sounds about right.

every dyno reads different anyways, i wouldnt worry about it much

Its best to compare runs on one dyno, not on different dynos... so the fact that a stock 954 did 125, and yours did 133, means the pipe made a good difference. comparing your 133 on that dyno, to 139 on sport rider's dyno means next to nothing.

Dynos arent very good "pissing contest" judges, thats what the track is for

My 02 954RR with PC3r, megasquirt, fat injectors, high compression pistons, P & P head, Stage 2 cams, and Erion Racing exhaust dynoed at 178hp @ 11,900 rpm and 90 ft. lbs. of torque @ 8200 rpm. Doesn't sound like much, but with a 520 conversion, it is a whole new bike. There isn't a 1 liter bike that can keep up until I wind out at 140 mph. Horseower is nice, but good gearing is better!

sounds pretty sick. my bike with only 133 is fast (to me anyways) i cant imagine 180. got any suspension work done to keep the front end down id imagine it likes to pull the front end up.

you must go through chains every week. all that power through such a small chain.

Just think about dyno's in general...and i have been thinking about this....how can a bike dyno actually read accurate? You are never going to get the air flow rate with your ram air tubes with fans than if you were traveling at speed. Correct? Everybody knows, airflow = power...and the bike was built to have that amount of airflow....so essentially you are taking power away from it....right?

they did have the blower on it although i doubt it was blowing 130mph worth of air. maybe more like 30. could very well affect the power.

Bought the engine, suspension and electronics from Erion Racing. Bike made sick numbers, then got the megasquirt fuel controller, megasquirt opens up a separate 650cc injector at 6600 rpm, and retards the timing. Works great! Bike doesn't eat up chains anymore, no more hard launches. This bike is a daily rider to and from work.
