im currently building my first b series motor just wanted to see what you guys think. its relatively stock right now i would say but im hoping for a 210-215 endstate.

so far:
b18c1 bottom end with jdm itr pistons (11.3:1)
gsr head 5 angle valve job, p&p, milled 3 thou (cleaned up)
gsr manifold
clevite bearings
dc jdm 4-1 header
0.29 stock HG
gsr cams
apexi 2.5 exhuast
chipped p28 with "mugen" program

the bold items will be changed when i find good deals. most likely BC3+ cams, blox manifold, and whoever will give me a good deal on a decent header, wil be used. im hoping, like i said, for about 210 hp when all is said and done. apparently theres someone on here with ctr pistons making 215 so im pretty hopeful. is it possible or am i dreaming?

edit: will be buttoned up on tuesday and tuned most likely at hookups shortly after

dude your in Hemet right?

I think I'm gonna sell the Spark racing header that was on my GF's car...

it has been modified by a professional fabricator (he did the Skunk2 RSX, and just did a header and airbox for Jeremy Lokofsky). It is now a 2-piece slip-fit design. I did this to repair it because it cracked. It is now in better-than-new condition. Also we polished it.

It works pretty good, made 160hp on my girlfriend's stock USDM GSR motor (only mod were header, intake, skunk2 manifold)...

I haven't decided for sure whether or not to sell it but if you make me a good offer you can have it

and if not, well, I'm right here in Temecula if you ever need any help with anything. You know we have a little meet-up at the In-n-Out in Temecula every thursday, when you get you ride together you should come check it out. Not a ton of people but everyone is cool, mostly all the Honda-heads and import people in general from the Temecula/Murrieta area. We don't race just hang out and bullshit pretty much...

 

yea how did you know im in hemet? you wouldnt happen to be the one who answered the phone at hookups and wanted my SAFC2 were you? if so id like to work something out trade +cash for that header. and yea ill probably roll out there thursday.

i made 226 on a dynapack with custom 82mm CTR pistons in my GSR build, tuned with only a VAFC2 and with blox HSL comp cams... which are all for sale BTW, just incase your interested

 

Dude sweet ride. I would definately try to get some other cams you will make alot more power. Skunk2 stg 1's are similar to ITR's go with some good stg 2's and you should have a really awesome ride.

what was your compression? headwork?

naw that wasn't me, I just saw in your other thread asking about machine shops that you were in hemet. car looks dope BTW - I have those same spring hooks on my rear window
