i own a 1992 accord wagon with 230k miles on the motor. the motor runs strong, but it has a problem with the idle at a stop light. the idle seems to go up and down and when i go to hit the gas the car feels like its barely moving and i have to take my foot of hte gas pedal and re-apply my foot on teh gas pedal for the car to run properly. anyone kno what can cause this? thanks

 

simplest thing you can do is check for proper vaccum. Also removing and cleaning the ICV will most likely solve your problem.

 

something like that happened right before my distributor went out on my 91 accord dx, might wana find out if it has even been replaced

if i were you, just replace with new injectors. Injectors are easy to replace but if you don't install them proberly it can cause vacuum leak as well as fuel leak. Buy new injectors somewhere else (not at honda cause it's EXPENSIVE) and let Professionals to install them for you.
