Default gas gauge

so i was just wondering if my gas gauge is messed up or if everyones does this.

i have a 1994 Honda Civic CX with B16 swap and before my gas gauge moved down evenly as the gas was being used. Now the gas gauge moves down about half an inch when i have 120 miles then another inch when i get the 160 then another half inch and im at 170. This seems like the gauge is properly displaying the level. does it have somehting to do with the floater in the gas tank or somehting ? i just thought i would ask to see because it didnt do it when i had a D16 but it doesnt seem like it would be the engine swap that would do it.

thanks in advance

exactly... if i remember correctly we (cx model) has an 11.2 gallon tank. so just fill here up to full, reset the trip odometer and drive away. now once you go back to fill up again, take the mileage you cover on your trip odometer, and divide it by the amount in gallons that you put in your tank to get back to full....

with my b16 swap in my cx, i get about 250 miles to the tank at least. i just dont want to push it much further than that.
