Default Quick 05 Civic Si/AEM CAI question

I'm going to be looking at an 05 Civic Si this weekend, and help remove a resonator. An AEM CAI is already installed, and what I want to know is this: for this car, do the AEM instructions mandate that the resonator be removed? Atleast with my prelude, it was completely optional. Just want to make sure it might still be in there, before poking around.

For this car, what's the easiest way to get at it? Remove driver side wheel and splashguard?

Thanks!

No resonator on mine when I installed it,,,,don't even need to take the tire off,,,just the bumper and cut a lil' piece of the rubber,,,,,its a tight fit tho',,,have to take ur battery off to make things easier!,,,,,,
