ok i have a problem with my car. jus started today after i turned a corner. then after the corner i downshift into second. and when i started to accel the front driver side started to shake really bad. now when your accelerating it shakes really fast. it doesnt shake if your in nuteral. shakes a little bit when its in gear, but shakes really hard when you accelerate. does anyone have an idea what could be wrong.

check your lugnuts, then
check your tire pressure, then
check your alignment, then
check your wheel balance, then
check your drive axles, then
get back to us...

 

Sounds like a busted CV axle, do you here a clicking when turning, see if the is axle grease all over you underchassis

 

Shaking only on acceleration = probably axles.

 

ok i jus replaced the front motor mount. it fixed maybe about 75% of the problem. now its a small vibration when i accelerate.

 

I was about to post that it was motor mounts.
Did you replace it with stock mounts?
Why not replace the back one as well?

 

umm i looked at it. it doesnt look bad. so any other ideas.

so, can bad motor mounts cause vibration at highway speed? I've got bad vibration from 50mph and up in the steering wheel and when it gets bad, the whole car vibrates.

Did you add new rims on the car....if so you may need a hub ring.

 

nope i have stock rims on

 

More then likely its your lower ball joint, it proably needs a new boot with greese.

 

any idea how much it will run me?

 

If those turn out ok, might be your clutch slipping

 

ok prob solved. new motor mount and one axel later prob solved.
