I'm in need of a B18 block asap. My friend's B18a in his 90 Integra blew while crusing on the highway because of a ECU upgrade. I guess running 6° advance in the highway crusing cells was too much for the 180,000 mile engine.

He's in Seattle and I'm trying to find a "LOCAL" JDM Engine wearhouse for him so he can buy a B18 long block. I'm trying to save on shipping costs. He doesn't have a lot of cash. Any suggestions?

automotive-advantage is a company in Washington that should sell jdm engines. i bought a 4age, 20 valve motor for a corolla from them a couple of years ago. they said they can get any jdm motor if you need it. i think they even have a warehouse full of jdm motors.

Yeah, My friend said he could easily drive to Bellingham. I just talked with him and laid out his options. He said it might be a month or more before he gets the cash though.
