I have a 98 ek hatch and i did a b16 motor swap and i used the 99 si wiring harness and ecu from my old si. the car runs, but there are many issues. When i first start up the car it idles high around 2-3thousand adn stays ther until i turn it off and start it again it idles at 1.5thousand. and also the reverse lights dont work, radiator fan doesnt work, rpm, and speedometer do not work, other then that everything works. Can your guys help me figure out and kind of ideas why its does this??? PLEASE HEALP

well..u coulda left the plug for the reverse lights unplugged...hot wire the radiator fan see if it turns on..as for your idling problem..couldnt really tell u could be many things..hope this helps ya

 

On the idle problem. Did you by chance hook up the IACV? Just a thought.

 

u need to check over it again, sounds like ur leaving some stuff unplugged or switched up.

 

Everything is hooked up right and we check everything over and over again and everything looks good in my opinion. I still can not figure out what the whole problem is. But do you guys know if i used the 98 ex harness it will fix my problem????
