Skunk 2 out a whole year, wins first event, yea baby!!
Skunk2 Racing takes first win of season...
Skunk2 Racing went to the season opener of the Battle of the Imports at Famoso Raceway (Bakersfield, CA) and came back home with its first 2002 event win. Tony Shagday was able to qualify No. 5 (11.0et)in the ACT Pro-Street class. He was then able to put together one of his best driving performances with strings of consistency. Tony advanced to the semi-final round with a 10.999et - advanced to the finals with a 11.1et - taking the event win with a 10.90et. Skunk2 Racing's next event is scheduled for April 13-14 at Gainesville Raceway.
I'm sure they'll more wins to come..

erick has faster times, but i think he is penalized for his tranny. im not sure on that though, he tore it up here in phoenix last week

Hey austin, you can ask Lawrence for the results as he was there and raced the skunk2 teg. He said something about skunk2 being caught for using methanol.

that wasnt the first event. Yes erick ran a 10.53....yes he is a cheater...yes he is an illegal alien....oops....Yes he uses a dogcut gearbox......No he doesnt build his own engines........
Yes tony shagday is the man. One of the best drivers around. VERY consistent. and thats what wins races.

Shagday is dope. He once smoked the **** out of a DOHC vtec Del Sol in my POS CRX sohc Si.
