whats the best way to remove tint off the windows of a car? thanks.

 

Amonia will take it off easy!

 

pure amonia? or glass cleaner with amonia?

 

amonia and vinegar will do the trick--spray it on and let it sit for a while;get a razor and get to scrapin'!

 

i use to worka sunn ezz tinting..........follow thes steps and ull have ur tint off in 45 min......with no razor blade involved...and barely any labor......ok .....get to trash bags.....preferably the brown or black one's.....and a spray bottle with water........cut or tear the trash bags apart from it original form....so it can form to the window.....dont do all at the same time......spray the window down with water......paste the trash bag to the window it will suck up to the window..make sure its on there good.....finish one side of the car....and park it so the sun is beaming down on the side that u did...let it sit for 30 to 45 min..depending on how hott it is...the hotter the faster....use good judgement on when to take it off....now when ur ready to take it offf ....it will come off smooth like unpeeling a new sticker....if it doesnt come off smoothly...let it sit longer....and then proceed...with the back of the car ..then the other side.....this is how the pro's do it

If you have any residue left over, hot watter and dish soap with some paper towles will take it right off.

 

How about the rear window, you know the defogger lines. Is there anything to worry about there?

 

don't worry about the defogger lines. They won't come off when you take off the tint.

 

pay sombody else to take it off for you.

 

nah the de fogger is no prob..

 

Most window tinters can't gurantee that the all the defrost lines will remain intact if they tint gets removed. I have been told the best thing to do is to HOPE that someone throws a brick through your rear window.

acura brake cleaner works GREAT spray it on the glue and you can wipe it right off its also for eletrics so it wont fu(k up the defrost lines!!
