Default Have some questions about droping fuel tank (I Searched)

well some time this weekend i am going to be droping my fuel tank because after half a tank it leaks. so i was just wanting to see if any one could give me some info on doing the job right and how hard it would be. and if its not to big of a hole would "JB Weld" be okay to use to patch up the hole. Thanks to every one who helps.

oh yeah my car is a 1990 Civic Si HB

Its really simple, just make sure the tank is pretty empty. That way its not heavy and will make it easier to drop & put back.

take out the rear seat bottem, undo the wiring, remove the fuel pump plate and undo the lines, get under the car remove the vent line and undo the 2 straps. I wouldn't suggest jb weld because it probably is rusted at the seam.

A new fuel tank I'd imagine.
