anybody have pics of their window net install?
i wanted to see some pics of installed window nets.specifically the bottom front mount.the kit i have has a belt buckle that is welded to the top front,a short pipe to be welded to the top back and another two pieces for the bottom. the rear lower one is no problem, but i was wondering how you were doing the front bottom piece.
99hybridhatch has a nice clevis setup on his. but he changed his sn so you can't search it. I haven't installed mine yet, but I've got one from Art Morrison and it comes with a cable and bracket to weld to the door bar. so it attatches with the cable. hard to explain.
here are the pics

Where can I find a net like that one? That net seems to be designed to accomodate mounting both points directly to the bar... the slant at the bottom is much more aggressive than the ones that you can buy to slant with the window instead. I like the one pictured here better

all you have to do is make a "mock" up net from oaktag. and send it toStroud Safety (they produce the window nets, parachutes, etc) either that or you can contact http://www.vpracecars.com and they will be able to provide you with the information that you need.
Ok, let me be more specific since I have a full cage. At what mph/ET do I need a window net? Is that part of the cage requirement for both NDRA and NHRA? I must have missed it.
