Default Pics and info of my car, what next?

Hey guys, I'm kind of at a fork in the road right now so I'm hoping I can get some educated opinions from the userbase here. I want some good honest opinions, if you don't have anything to add, please don't post anything negative.

So I'm finishing up the suspension overhaul of my car and I'm looking for the next line of modifications to invest in. I want to enhance it's visual appeal tastefully, as well as make it moderately quicker. In the future I wish to turbocharge it.

So what do you guys think? Should I mess with any appearance or N/A power mods or should I just start saving for the turbo kit?

Mods so far:
Zdyne Swap ECU
2.25" SS side exit exhaust
eBay intake
B16 obviously

That's about it really...so what to do, appearance and N/A power mods (header, cams, tuning) or save for boost?

Yeah I think wheels/tires are definately next on my list, JLB motorsports has an excellent sale going on that I need to take advantage of.

I'd touch up the moldings around your windows in flat black to clean up the look, as well as some red paint for the front bumper.

I kind of like the black front bumper. You're right, though, I've been meaning to touch up that trim for a long time now. My bumpers don't exactly line up the best, neither do my fenders.

You have a pretty clean crx as it is.....wheel/tire combo would be a good idea. I personally like the jdm front ends, because they retain a nice clean look, but if you are in no rush for appearance, just save for the turbo kit

okay keep in mind thsi is my opinions. They may sound ridiculous but It would be the way i would work on this car.

-Paint the front bumper, or atleast the top part.
-touch up the window trim and moldings
-If you have waterspots - Get waterspot remover
-maybe wet sand, clear coat it and buff it.
-Paint the ebay intake
-get some integra rims
-Get a lip spoiler, if u dont have one, * i couldnt tell*
- Take off The window tint
- take off the antenna
- Paint side mirrors
-Relocate the license plate to the corner. or just take off and be a gay rebel.
- Take millions of pictures after the finished product

i like the whole red/black thing u got going on. i would even maybe go with some black 17s or something. rims would really improve the looks of the car. then i would lower the car just a bit with some springs, and add a front sway bar. all this would really help your handling. Also if u are going with a turbo i would advise a bigger brake setup than stock. all this would really save u in the long run, TRUST ME ... i didnt do alot of this and i ended up rolling my crx.

I've already bought a lot of stuff to overhaul the suspension and I'll be doing the brakes sometime soon as well. I already have PBR pads.

I kind of like the black bumper myself, it ties in with the whole red/black theme. I don't currently have a lip but it would more than likely just get destroyed around here (terrible roads).

The window tint has been on my hit list for awhile, it's purple and gross and stuff, makes visibility suck.

I like the opinions guys, keep them coming. How about some wheel color suggestions? I'm looking at 15" Konig heliums in black, bronze, or silver. If the price were good enough I might be tempted into something else though.

get your front end lined up, good tires 15 inch wheels. front rear tower bars. front rear lower tie bars, front end/wheel alignment. aggressively drive new setup 10k. polyurethane bushing kit, brake upgrade, drive another 5k. power up.

Is there a way to put in an "internal antenna" or do you just go with out?

I would say do some small N/A things and work hard on the suspension and wheel/tire combo for the car. Boost if fun ... but I wish I still had a car that I tuned to handle and could tear away from anything through corners at 110+ and still accelerate. Cams .. good header (DC JDM 4-1 2" collector seen 220+ whp on one) .. get some good offset wheels and some falken azenis for the street. I would suggest to get some full coilover setup but you already have some shocks ... try to get into some road race spring sets (equal weight front/rear). You will be amazed on the smile you would have every time you drive

The key to a fun mild N/A car is get it tuned ... my buddy has a 170whp B16a2 in his 5th gen. Bone stock but the intake and header/exhaust. Still has AC and power steering too.. He uses chrome and pulled a lot of power out of the car. Its a real real fun DD / auto-x / road race, car handles like no other.

But my boost is fun but too much breaks and the cost is way way up there ...

I like rota slipstreams, but thats me. The tint removal is going to be a bitch, but get a razor blade, goo-gone, and some steel wool. This is how I removed mine. Took about 5 hours.

If you want to lighten it up, get some new seats. The interior weighs next to nothing (plastic...), but the seats are porkers. Plus new seats are really comfortable :D

It looks clean as hell now, you should just leave it and start saving for the turbo. Putting wheels on it will just make it a bigger theft target anyway, lol.

It really needs a full exhaust, the side exit is driving me nuts since there's only one resonator and no cat. It sucks for any kind of highway driving. That's going to require me getting a test pipe.

Any suggestions as far as springs go? I was planning on Tein S-Techs due to price and I don't really want to lower it too much since the roads suck here. I definately don't want to spend much if any more than $150 on springs.

Anybody used K sport lowering springs before? I found some on eBay for $136 shipped.

I've had good experience with Eibach Pro-kit springs. They're not too harsh for daily driving (we have a mix of good and bad roads here in Columbus) while still offering a modest improvement in stiffness over stock and they're not painfully low. You could probably get a set for under $150 if you keep an eye out on ebay.

A lot of people seem to hate Eibachs though; be sure to keep an ear out to other suggestions.

Dont get anything bigger than 16 inch rims. I would probably get some rotas, im a cheap ***.

One more thing , my car was a beat up spider nest when i got it, And all tail lights and front lights corner lights were all ugly and scratched. So i sanded them very little with 2,000 grit, and then i buffed them up and they looked great, like brand new.

Get some HX wheels powder coated black.

Also I've seen your video. Maybe a driving lesson on standard shifting would be nice too.

Do not get Rotas, way over played now.
