help! my clutch is too soft.
Are you familiar with bleeding the clutch fluid for air? There is a nozzle where the line connects for the hydraulic clutch line into the tranny...loosen it and open the clutch fluid reservoir. Have some brake fluid handy and have a friend loosen the nozzle and keep the clutch fluid reservoir full as you pump the clutch. Once the fluid comes out looking like it did from the bottle of fluid and there is no air in the lines (no spitting or air coming out) have your friend tighten down the clutch bleeder nozzle and pump the clutch. There should be a remarkable difference if what I think is wrong with your clutch is the actual problem. If this doesn't work it is possible that you have a leak some where in the lines. There is a DIY topic on this somewhere in the "DIY" post at the top of this forum that I believe gets more specific than what I have written. Good luck.
