ok, so yesturday i install a brand new relay to try to get my car running, no dice. it clicked once each time i tried to start the car and once each time i stopped. ive been reading a lot of stuff about how bad grounds can cause this, seems like a lot of people are having issues with this right now. today i go back to work on the car and check the grounds but then the main relay wasnt clicking at all.


QUESTION---if the main relay isnt clicking at all is it blown? or could an ungrounded wire be at fault???

an ungrounded wire could be the cause.

i have been having crazy issues too with my car, just today i finished making my own ground wires with thick *** amp wire, and now its so much better, no problems yet. its amazing to see how much **** bad grounds can cause, and how much they can do, when brand new and proper

i highly suggest doing your grounds.

 

Fixed your starting problem eh juice91si? I told you those damn grounds were the problem Weird ****, will drive you nutz. I installed a new fuel pump before I figured that out

 

yeah ive been working on this forever. i was about to replace the fuel pump as well. the car has been sitting outside only in a carport for a few years so maybe the elements have cause the grounds to go bad. h-t needs a main relay faq or something
