Default Calling all d15 vtec guys.

im getting a d15 vtec pretty soon from h motors and i and going to the typical t-belt water pump blah blah blah and i was wondering what car i sould i get the parts for. like should i get them for a z6, y8 or what.

also im going to order the rywire harness and i was talking to a friend that knows pretty much about swaps and he said that if i use the p08 ecu it will throw a EGT code, is this true and if so is there anything i can do to get around it short of pulling the bulb.

get a si tranny and the clutch/flywheel for that tranny. i ran a p28 with a custom chip, 4 wire o2, and obd1 conversion. the head is a z6 so plugs, wires, valves, valve springs, retainters are going to be from the 92-95 civic ex ( d16z6 ). the bottom end is "basicly" from the 92-95 vx model but the internals are different.

For a D15B VTEC, the proper timing belt and water pump are for a '92-95 VX.
