Diff. b/w OBD1 & OBD2 for B18C1 95/96

Diff. b/w OBD1 & OBD2 for B18C1 95/96

In regards to swaping this engine. My car(EG6) is an OBD1. I was thinking if maybe there is a convenience incentive with sticking an OBD1. Since I already have one. My question is, if I would benefit anything from going with a 96 B18C1(OBD2) than getting a 95 B18C(OBD1) considering that I am running on an OBD1 right now?
I would usually research something like this, but I don't find anything that answers this specific question. Any known knowledge would be appreciated.
