I recently replaced the front brake pads and rotors on my 91 SI. For some reason when i turn my wheel and brake firm(not hard) I start to hear a sort of grinding sound. not sure what it might be. anyone know anything or have experienced something similar please help me out...

P.S. Brakes were done less than 1500 miles ago
used ebc green stuff and just some oem replacement rotors

make sure the brake shield isnt hitting the rotor. I had the same problem and it went away once I moved it

pry the shield away from the rotor.
